But the Bengals were not they do happen to indulge in vishochnao by Mallett's arm. Not compared to NFL visible-readiness and skills of Dalton. The impact of decision-stay stopped u.s. District Court of the United States Nelson Richard and Susan made earlier in the week when it ordered end lock. And it came less than 12 hours after the REDSKINS football operations teams keep welcomes players back into their facilities.

He was the last turbulent week for the transition to the NFL, came only hours after the said Commissioner Roger size is guide groups of programs to open the League season, free movement and agency.

It is only intended as a temporary stay, the judges said, "give the opportunity enough for the Court to consider the benefits of a long stay, will be the judges for the duration of the NFL is considering a full appeal.

The judgment came through vote 2-1 in the three-judge. Since it is only temporary, reimposing the Crusades of the NFL to unlock its League for second week straight if the judges make their decision next week.

The judge Kermit e. bye, appointed by the President Bill Clinton, dissented in. He wrote that "the NFL failed to satisfy me that he will suffer irreversible damage."

The two judges who were staying Steven m. Colloton Duan Benton. Both were appointed by the President George Bush.

Bye added that the remains of emergency reserves usually in cases of the death penalty or expulsion.

These are emergency situations "," bye told wildly marshaa of NFL.

"If in the end, we grant the motion for a stay, the NFL can easily create anew lock his," he wrote.

"NFL is absolutely not the same place is an emergency or a person about to be removed, which is not so easily make the consequences of allowing the first order of a court take effect."

James Quinn, lead consultant for the players, said the delay was "completely AP."

"The only surprise is to see justice is so strongly against giving them even a tiny because the League of course cannot show that it is necessary," said Kevin.

Judges should consider briefing NFL, players – an antitrust violations – next week.

Penetration one lock is allowed access to the teams of players who had been cut in recent weeks.

The new Cleveland Browns Coach Pat Shurmur said he was able to be productive in this window.

"I think we took advantage of it because we are allowed to speak and interact with our players," said Shurmur, who said he took advantage of the "good for a few hours."

"Now we're back to the status of the lock, so we just deal with it as we were up to the last few days."

University of California, Los Angeles, safety MOR Rahim heard the news, after it is selected in the second round.

Moore, a formula that includes perli, said that he had dreamed of playing in the NFL for his entire life. He said the fact that its value is reached the crisis does not diminish the moment.

"No, not at all," he said. "One thing that I already do, I've been focusing on me, making sure I was well-conditioned, and make sure that I'm a better player NFL, stay focused. But my eyes and the ears are always open. I know you accept the NFLPA and the NFL is, to make everything equal and to make them all happy, and to the great football America deserves. "

Earlier Friday, Atlanta Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff tried to not concern itself with the consequences of the judgment that resulted from the Eighth Circuit Court of appeals, as he prepared for the final two days of the draft. Typically, Dimitroff would meet with the coach Mike Smith , other team members to map the schedule for rookies at minicamps because of.

Still with the uncertainty that prevails, Dimitroff figured that his time could be spent more effectively with other tasks. The meeting went on without him.

Dimitroff said, "it was almost the last thing I want to talk about. I basically bowed out of these discussions. "

Complete the second round of the 2011 NFL draft analysis Tuesday

Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2011 NFL draft are complete. The Huddle offers its breakdown of the 65 players selected on Day 2 of the draft:

RELATED:  First-round analysis | First-round draft tracker | Second-round draft tracker | Third-round draft tracker

PHOTOS: NFL draft highlights

33. New England Patriots (from Carolina Panthers) -- Ras-I Dowling, CB, Virginia: Big (6-1, 198 pounds), fast and physical, Dowling has been hampered by injuries. But some scouts think he's a better player than fellow injury-prone Cavaliers CB Chris Cook, taken 34th overall last year by the Minnesota Vikings. After finding Pro Bowl CB Devin McCourty late in the first round in 2010, the Pats get more help for their nickel defense, the base defense for 60% of NFL plays these days.

34. Buffalo Bills -- Aaron Williams, DB, Texas: He can play just about anywhere in the secondary. And with S Donte Whitner and CB Drayton Florence set to be free agents, the Bills can decide where Williams best fits as they continue to revamp their defense.

35. Cincinnati Bengals -- Andy Dalton, QB, TCU: This could officially mean the end of the Carson Palmer era in Cincinnati. Dalton won more college games than anyone other than Colt McCoy, his new AFC North rival. A smart, accurate passer, Dalton should fit well in new OC Jay Gruden's offense and gets to break in with No. 4 pick A.J. Green at receiver. He could be further insulated if RB Cedric Benson re-ups. Though player transactions are still in limbo, the Bengals can now shop Palmer ... perhaps to one of the NFC West teams considering he's a California native.

36. San Francisco 49ers (from Denver Broncos) -- Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada: The Niners passed on QBs Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert last night ... apparently they like Kaepernick better. Kaepernick is the only college player to pass for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 three times. He will need some development time in all likelihood which seems to increase the chances that 2005 top pick Alex Smith, currently a free agent, returns for at least another year. The Broncos move back to No. 45 in this trade and pick up needed mid-round picks (Nos. 108 and 141).

37. Cleveland Browns -- Jabaal Sheard, DE, Pittsburgh: The Browns got DT Phil Taylor last night and now get another piece for their new 4-3 defense. The selection of Sheard, who had 14 sacks over the past two seasons, continues the free fall of Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers, who had 15.5 in 2010.

38. Arizona Cardinals -- Ryan Williams, RB, Virginia Tech: Several good pass rushers still on the board, but the Cardinals opt to load up their backfield. Williams has extraordinary talent but had trouble staying healthy for the Hokies. Given the injury issues of 2009 first-rounder Beanie Wells, maybe Arizona can get a season's worth of production between two gifted ballcarriers. Third-down back extraordinaire Tim Hightower is currently a restricted free agent.

39. Tennessee Titans -- Akeem Ayers, OLB/DE, UCLA: Like Von Miller last night, Ayers seems more suited as a 3-4 rush linebacker. But the Titans need help in their linebacking corps, and Ayers could be another player who lines up over tight ends on early downs and teams up with 2010 first-round DE Derrick Morgan to stalk QBs on passing downs.

40. Dallas Cowboys -- Bruce Carter, LB, North Carolina: A nice investment pick. Carter ripped up his knee late in the 2010 season and was only recently cleared to work out after surgery on his ACL. He likely would have gone in the top 15 had he been healthy and may not be ready to play until late this season. The Cowboys may also stick him on IR and get one more season out of the ILB tandem of Keith Brooking and Bradie James. Carter and Sean Lee may be the future inside, though.

41. Washington Redskins -- Jarvis Jenkins, DT, Clemson: A 4-3 tackle at Clemson, he likely projects as a 3-4 end for the 'Skins. Yet at some point we have to wonder, why don't the Redskins just go back to a 4-3? Yesterday's first-rounder, Ryan Kerrigan, and Brian Orakpo were college defensive ends; Jenkins was a college D-tackle; London Fletcher is a Pro Bowl-quality middle linebacker; and $100 million man Albert Haynesworth wants to be a one-gap defensive tackle like he was in Tennessee. The 4-3 scheme seems to fit the personnel much, much better than the 3-4 that flopped last year.

42. Houston Texans -- Brooks Reed, OLB/DE, Arizona: The Texans get a high-effort pass rusher to play opposite OLB Connor Barwin and in front of DEs Mario Williams and last night's first-rounder, J.J. Watt. The Texans D under new DC Wade Phillips seems to be loading up.

43. Minnesota Vikings -- Kyle Rudolph, TE, Notre Dame: Already a new toy for first-round QB Christian Ponder, who's not known for a big arm. Rudolph is the first tight end off the board and likely would've been picked far sooner -- likely yesterday -- if not for the hamstring injury that ruined his 2010 season and kept him out of combine workouts. He could also open up things deep for WRs Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice (assuming he's back). Rudolph could be very dangerous in the seam. Visanthe Shiancoe, a favorite red-zone target of Brett Favre, likely won't be re-signed after his contract expires following the 2011 season.

44. Detroit Lions -- Titus Young, WR, Boise State: He could be quite a mismatch in the slot between WRs Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson. Young isn't big (5-11, 174 pounds), but he can turn a slant into six. That could be a frequent possibility given the attention Johnson will always draw from No. 1 CBs.

45. Denver Broncos (from San Francisco 49ers) -- Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA: He likes to think he's Ed Reed, but Moore will likely replace another legend, Brian Dawkins (who will be 38 in October). Moore has good ball skills, and the Broncos need that after Dawkins' pass defense seemed to slip in 2010. However Moore couldn't find a better mentor and inspirational leader to mimic than BDawk.

46. Denver Broncos (from Miami Dolphins) -- Orlando Franklin, OL, Miami (Fla.): He was projected by some scouts as a guard in the NFL even though he was a tackle for the Hurricanes. The guess here is that the 6-6, 316-pounder takes over at right tackle in Denver, where injury-plagued Ryan Harris is a free agent.

47. St. Louis Rams -- Lance Kendricks, TE, Wisconsin: The Rams get a new target for QB Sam Bradford, but not a wide receiver. Could be an indication that the Rams are satisfied with WR Donnie Avery (who missed 2010 with a knee injury) and are confident WR Mark Clayton will re-sign.

48. Oakland Raiders -- Stefen Wisniewski, C/G, Penn State: The first Nittany Lion called in this draft will unite with his Uncle, Steve (an 8-time Pro Bowl guard for the L.A./Oakland Raiders), who now coaches the Silver & Black's O-line. Stefen Wisniewski, Oakland's first pick of the 2011 draft, should immediately take over at guard or center -- he manned both spots in Happy Valley -- as the Raiders rebuild the middle of their line with LG Robert Gallery moving on as a free agent and G Cooper Carlisle probably a poor fit for a power-blocking scheme.

49. Indianapolis Colts (from Jacksonville Jaguars via Washington Redskins ) -- Ben Ijalana, G/T, Villanova: A left tackle in college, he'll probably start at guard for the Colts, who took BC T Anthony Castonzo last night. But Indy has options and likes versatile linemen. It's within the realm of possibility that Ijalana blows away the Colts in camp and pushes Castonzo to guard or displaces aging RT Ryan Diem ... or mabye Ijalana is the left tackle and Castonzo takes over for Diem. The 'Skins move back to 53 and pick up a fifth-rounder by dealing the pick.

50. San Diego Chargers -- Marcus Gilchrist, DB, Clemson: Either a slot corner or safety, he'll play a lot for the Bolts. And with S Eric Weddle unsigned, Gilchrist could wrest a starting job on the back line right out of the chute.

51. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson: The slide ends for Bowers, who led the country with 15.5 sacks last year and was mentioned as a potential No. 1 overall pick before red flags on his surgically repaired knee scuttled his draft value. After taking DE Adrian Clayborn last night, the Bucs could start a four-man D-line with two years combined experience this fall after drafting DTs Gerald McCoy and Brian Price a year ago. However Tampa Bay continues to look like a team ready to prove last year's 10-6 ledger was no aberration.

52. New York Giants -- Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina: Great value pick. Austin was a near-certain first-round prospect before he was suspended for the 2010 season for accepting trips and jewelry from agents while at UNC. Austin could make stomaching the potential loss of free-agent DT Barry Cofield easier for Big Blue. With Chris Canty still on hand with last year's second-rounder, ECU's Linval Joseph, the Giants keep their D-line young, talented and deep.

53. Chicago Bears (from Indianapolis Colts via Washington Redskins) -- Stephen Paea: He's strong as an ox, setting a scouting combine record by bench-pressing 225 pounds 49 times. He's not the athlete that departed DT Tommie Harris was, but he'll suck up blocks to help free DEs Julius Peppers and Israel Idonije. A former rugby player from New Zealand, Paea fell a bit after having offseason meniscus surgery.

54. Philadelphia Eagles -- Jaiquawn Jarrett, FS, Temple: This may mean free-agent S Quintin Mikell is done in Philly ... and he will be 31 in September, an age the Eagles typically disdain among skill players. Jarrett could form a long-term tandem with S Nate Allen, last year's Round 2 pick.

55. Kansas City Chiefs -- Rodney Hudson, C/G, Florida State: A heavily decorated ACC O-lineman, he'll probably shift from guard to center in the NFL. Chiefs C Casey Wiegmann will be 38 and is unsigned. Change may be coming to the league's No. 1 rush offense.

56. New England Patriots (from New Orleans Saints) -- Shane Vereen, RB, California: A bruising runner, the Patriots just got better in short-yardage situations, though Vereen is far more than a back who gets 3 yards and a cloud of dust. He also catches the ball and has a burst. They opt for Vereen with the selection they procured from New Orleans after passing on Mark Ingram (which the Saints didn't do).

57. Detroit Lions (from Seattle Seahawks) -- Mikel Leshoure, RB, Illinois: They jump up for an intriguing power back to team with last year's first-rounder, explosive Jahvid Best, after parting with injury-riddled RB Kevin Smith in March. Leshoure ran for 1,697 yards last year, a Fighting Illini record.

58. Baltimore Ravens -- Torrey Smith, WR, Maryland: Quite a feel-good story for a man who survived a challenging childhood amid a drug-addicted mother, Smith stays close to home. Ravens coach John Harbaugh has expressed admiration for Smith's perseverance more than once. On the field, he should offer more vertical ability than either Anquan Boldin or Derrick Mason. Don't expect to see free agents T.J. Houshmandzadeh or Donte' Stallworth return to Baltimore in 2011.

59. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta Falcons) -- Greg Little, WR, North Carolina: The final member of last year's suspended trio of Tar Heels to be suspended, Little is an intriguing prospect. He was converted to wideout prior to 2009, his final college season, but caught 62 passes. He's huge (6-2, 231 pounds), has great run-after-catch ability and maybe the best hands in the draft. But he has a lot to learn about he nuances of the position, especially route-running in the West Coast offense he's about to join.

60. Houston Texans (from New England Patriots) -- Brandon Harris, CB, Miami (Fla.): The Texans get a solid corner prospect and have now taken a defender for all three levels of their new defense in this draft. If the Texans opt to start Harris opposite CB Kareem Jackson, their 2010 first-rounder, Glover Quin might move to safety. Regardless, Houston seems to be taking extensive measures to ensure they won't give up a league-worst 267.5 passing ypg in 2011.

61. San Diego Chargers (from New York Jets) -- Jonas Mouton, ILB, Michigan: In the pick obtained for CB Antonio Cromartie, the Chargers upgrade their linebacking corps, which could lose Antwan Barnes, Stephen Cooper, Brandon Siler and Kevin Burnett to free agency.

62. Miami Dolphins (from Chicago Bears via Washington Redskins) -- Daniel Thomas, RB, Kansas State: A load at 230 pounds, Thomas' arrival could make re-signing RBs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams a lower priority. The Dolphins had shown significant predraft interest in Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett, but incumbent QB Chad Henne is looking increasingly safe.

63. Pittsburgh Steelers -- Marcus Gilbert, T, Florida: He'll join two former Gators in the Steel City -- LT Max Starks should be back in 2011 after neck surgery curtailed his 2010 campaign, while Gilbert reunites with ex-Florida teammate Maurkice Pouncey, a Pro Bowl center as a rookie in 2010. This may mean RT Flozell Adams won't complete his two year-deal as his 36th birthday nears. Secondary remains an issue in Pittsburgh, though the value isn't seemingly there.

64. Green Bay Packers -- Randall Cobb, WR, Kentucky: The Pack add a slash-like element to their already diversified offense, though this may mean Green Bay fans will say goodbye to free agent James Jones, who can probably earn starter's money in another city after years of toiling behind Greg Jennings and Donald Driver.

65. Carolina Panthers -- Terrell McClain, DT, South Florida: With their first pick since kicking this draft off with QB Cam Newton, the Cats get much-needed interior D-line help, where they still miss Kris Jenkins.

66. Cincinnati Bengals -- Dontay Moch, LB, Nevada: Raw talent with blazing speed joins Bengals stable of pass rushers and could start out as a third-down rush specialist.

67. Denver Broncos -- Nate Irving, LB, North Carolina State: He joins the new 4-3 defense, though his ultimate position could be determined by whether D.J. Williams wants to be in the middle or on the flank, where his athleticism may be better employed.

68. Buffalo Bills -- Kelvin Sheppard, LB, LSU: Could provide insurance if they lose ILB Paul Posluszny to free agency. Buffalo has added youth to all three levels of its defense.

69. Arizona Cardinals -- Rob Housler, TE, Florida Atlantic: A very athletic player who can take a seam route for a big play, Housler could portend a major change to Ken Whisenhunt's offense, which hasn't featured a tight end since his arrival.

70. Kansas City Chiefs (from Cleveland Browns) -- Justin Houston, OLB, Georgia: At 270 pounds, he's a massive outside backer. He may fall into the 'tweener category and could be a better athlete than he is a football player. But he could get a starting crack with OLB Mike Vrabel a free agent.

71. Dallas Cowboys -- DeMarco Murray, RB, Oklahoma: This could mean Marion Barber III or Tashard Choice is on the block ... whenever the block is open. Murray was a kickoff returner at Norman as well as an effective runner and receiver.

72. New Orleans Saints (from Washington Redskins) -- Martez Wilson, ILB, Illinois: Saints got this selection in last year's trade for T Jammal Brown. Wilson is a 250-pounder who could start on special teams. He might get a shot outside, too, but it's hard to envision MLB Jonathan Vilma going anywhere soon.

73. New England Patriots (Houston Texans) -- Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU: Bill Belichick gets another big back to team with (restricted free agent) BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead, second-rounder Shane Vereen and -- maybe -- Kevin Faulk, if he can make it back from a knee injury.

74. New England Patriots (from Minnesota Vikings) -- Ryan Mallett QB, Arkansas: Make no mistake, Tom Brady has probably played his last game in New England given Mallett is picked three rounds higher ... just wanted to make sure you're still reading. The Pats halt Mallett's free fall and will likely develop him for any number of purposes: could he be a long-term successor to Brady (doubtful)? Could he be groomed as a replacement for backup QB Brian Hoyer (likely), allowing the Pats to spin off the increasingly highly regarded Hoyer a la Matt Cassel? And could Mallett be a trade chip down the line for a QB-needy team after Belichick has developed and maybe "rehabbed (image-wise)" Mallett in the eyes of other teams (perhaps quite likely)? Incidentally, this was the pick garnered for the Vikings' one-month rental of WR Randy Moss.

75. Seattle Seahawks (from Detroit Lions) -- John Moffitt, G, Wisconsin: Seattle's O-line could look almost entirely new in 2011 with Moffitt and first-rounder T James Carpenter teaming with youngsters Russell Okung and Max Unger, who both missed large chunks of the 2010 season. Somewhere RB Marshawn Lynch is flashing his golden smile.

76. Jacksonville Jaguars (from San Francisco 49ers) -- Will Rackley, G, Lehigh: Perhaps an underrated talent given his Patriot League roots. The Jags are building a nice line in front of Blaine Gabbert.

77. Tennessee Titans -- Jurrell Casey, DT, USC: A talented Trojan earmarked for the Titans' interior line, which has been plagued by injuries, Albert Haynesworth's 2009 free-agent defection and could lose Jacob Ford next.

78. St. Louis Rams -- Austin Pettis, WR, Boise State:Sam Bradford gets a tight end in Round 2 and Pettis in Round 3, a player some scouts like better than BSU teammate Titus Young. Pettis has reliable hands and provides a big target.

79. Washington Redskins (from Miami Dolphins) -- Leonard Hankerson, WR, Miami (Fla.): A big, possession type with fair speed, his role could be determined by whether or not fellow ex-'Cane Santana Moss re-signs in D.C.

80. San Francisco 49ers (from Jacksonville Jaguars) -- Chris Culliver, CB, South Carolina: Secondary depth and special teams help, but he's unlikely to compete for a starting job in S.F. any time soon. He does boast 4.36 speed.

81. Oakland Raiders -- DeMarcus Van Dyke, CB, Miami (Fla.): Surprise ... he's got sub 4.3 jets. He'll need refinement elsewhere in his game, but there could be playing time to be had in a secondary now absent all-pro CB Nnamdi Asomugha.

82. San Diego Chargers -- Vincent Brown, WR, San Diego State: A local product stays home, though he doesn't possess the prototypical size GM A.J. Smith typically covets in his wideouts. He could see time in the slot as a rookie.

83. New York Giants -- Jerrel Jernigan, WR, Troy: Giants go back to the Troy well, where they plucked DE Osi Umenyiora in 2003. Jernigan could thrive in the slot and could be a fallback if WR Steve Smith struggles to recover from major knee surgery that cut his 2010 season short.

84. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Mason Foster, LB, Washington: The Bucs needed backers. One of their major offseason concerns is trying to re-sign MLB Barrett Ruud, and they could also lose SLB Quincy Black. Foster could be a potential option at either post.

85. Baltimore Ravens (from Philadelphia Eagles) -- Jah Reid, T, Central Florida: Perhaps a sign that T Jared Gaither, and his multiple issues, are done in Baltimore. And perhaps a sign that Michael Oher will stay on the -- you guessed it -- blind side, even though he was more effective on the right side in 2009 as a rookie.

86. Kansas City Chiefs -- Allen Bailey, DE, Miami (Fla.): Likely projects as a 5-technique in K.C. where he could rotate in among DEs Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson. Nose tackle is still an issue with starter Ron Edwards unsigned.

87. Indianapolis Colts -- Drake Nevis, DT, LSU: A rotational player who will work inside between DEs Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis, Nevis could provide at least 30-40 quality snaps per contest.

88. New Orleans Saints -- Johnny Patrick, CB, Louisville: Probably ticketed for special teams given the team's wealth of corners: Tracy Porter, Jabari Greer and last year's first-rounder, Patrick Robinson. S Malcolm Jenkins can also drop down and cover in the slot. But Patrick's skills as a gunner will get him onto the field quickly.

89. San Diego Chargers (from Seattle Seahawks) -- Shareece Wright, CB, USC: Another player who could work his way up from special teams, though in San Diego that's an area of dire need as evidenced by last season.

90. Philadelphia Eagles (from Baltimore Ravens) -- Curtis Marsh, CB, Utah State: He could quickly get a crack to start given the team's struggles to cover players not matched up against Pro Bowl CB Asante Samuel in 2010.

91. Atlanta Falcons -- Akeem Dent, LB, Georgia: Solid player from down the road in Athens, who likely is the emergency plan if MLB Curtis Lofton went down. Falcons seem content to go with their young players if there's a mass defection off the O-line. And the secondary that got burned by the Packers in the playoffs has yet to receive reinforcements ... though free agency could always be an option.

92. Oakland Raiders (from New England Patriots) -- Joseph Barksdale, T, LSU: This 336-pounder with 39 starts for the Bayou Bengals could earn a shot at the right tackle job as Oakland rebuilds and recrafts its O-line.

93. Chicago Bears -- Chris Conte, FS, California: The Bears have had issues at safety lately. Conte, a converted linebacker, thrived at his new position last year and could push the Bears' incumbents for snaps, especially in the box.

94. New York Jets -- Kenrick Ellis, DL, Hampton: At 6-5, 346 pounds, this is the likely heir apparent to Kris Jenkins at nose tackle. Ellis was kicked off South Carolina's squad but re-emerged as a major force at the lower level of competition. This could mean Sione Pouha gets more time at end with first-rounder Muhammad Wilkerson and starter Mike DeVito. It may also mean Shaun Ellis won't be back for a 12th season.

95. Pittsburgh Steelers -- Curtis Brown, CB, Texas: Finally some reinforcements for a secondary that was tattooed in Super Bowl XLV. Brown could find himself thrown into the fire if veteran CB Ike Taylor doesn't get a new deal to his liking.

96. Green Bay Packers -- Alex Green, RB, Hawaii: A big back (6-0, 225 pounds) who joins a crowded backfield. His abilities as a receiver could enable him to take free agent Brandon Jackson's job.

97. Carolina Panthers (compensatory selection) -- Sione Fua, DT, Stanford: The Panthers end the third round the way they began it, by enlisting a defensive tackle who could immediately push his way atop a thin depth chart.

Lights shined at Newton takes after the Panthers made him the first overall pick on Thursday.

Carolina Panthers took less than five minutes to play the card and christen the NFL draft on Thursday night by choosing as the detector by Auburn quarterback now for the next round of questions. "Everyone is not just going to stop and say, "camera, select 1, we can leave it alone," Newton said of his critics, when he met the press at Radio City Music Hall. "If anything, the floodgates have opened officially. "Newton, 21, is the 11th quarterback the past top 14 draft to be selected with the select draft — which adds a sequence of exception in the last few months included leading the Tigers to a national championship and the first player since Notre Dame Hart Leon to select with the top pick of the Heisman Trophy after winning the ... He and Heisman national title and Newton., 6-4, 248, was without doubt the most scrutinized player in the draft after playing offense spread on fragile and only for a season after the mmdrsht junior Blinn (Texas). Like all the quarterback get double the chances of offense, Newton that largely depends on the success is to make the passage offence pro-style, with a more sophisticated level of reading defenses. Panthers banking on it. New coach Ron Rivera, former San Diego Chargers defensive coordinator inherited offense the lowest score of the NFL. "He has special qualities, "Panthers General Manager Marty Hurney said in a press conference the team headquarters in Charlotte. "We had a strong feeling for how much time we had one person can log on and have influence on our football." Newton, with an arm Cannon, the speed at which suddenly will make him the second fastest quarterback of the NFL after Michael Vick, the region 50 (30 passing touchdowns, 20 rushes) last season. "His throwing mechanics are there," NFL Network Analyst Mike Mayock said before the draft. "His throwing mechanics within double-they are not. You must give the child a chance to succeed, and I think the way to do this is to put it into my discomfort. "Experts imagine Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski to run the offense will features Newton who in fragile strength — such as a scale for small-scale rollouts, play action and beyond this. "I'm ready to get this show on the road now, '' said Newton, a Dapper grayish tan suit, purple shirt, a pink tie. Although he did not declare whether it aims to start as a rookie, he talked about the course maturation. "This is a goal for me consistently challenge myself to improve on a daily basis," he said. "I don't know when this conversation (start) is going to happen. But you know, every day, I'm just going to go out and learn something about the offense. "in pre-draft, several analysts questioned the commitment of Newton after he told sports illustrated that he wanted to be," symbol and entertainer. "Newton stressed in recent weeks that removed his work will not be a problem, and by intimating as much on Thursday to send another message to visitors, taking the still is also seems to suggest he will have thick skin. "I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone that I'm not trying to prove myself, "he said. "I'm my biggest critic."At the end of the day, "he added," I can't go to sleep knowing that I didn't get better on the same day, because I don't push myself to where I want to be the subject of "NFL has cast a cloud over the draft and also uncertainty expectations for Newton's first contract. Top pick last year, the St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, received a record 50 million Rocky-guaranteed contract with five years of his NFL proposed salary scale still beginner, reduce the amount of money is guaranteed a top 10. At the moment, without a lot of work, it is not clear if a rocky established for 2011, while such parameters be Newton did not seem over stressing as it basked in New Jersey with his Panthers hats. "I do not point the money, "he said. "Who will take care of itself."Newton said he did not discover the Panthers — who were also given LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson, Alabama defensive Marcell Dareus and shelter his country Georgia green r. a.j. Bahadur was settled it up — shortly before the draft began. He is expected to hear the msrm programs team of journalists. instead, the word came to call the expectation of The Rivera., he admitted, his nerves tested and restless nights. "This organization has saved me more than anything, "he said. "So I need to catch up with the bllth bed."When someone asked Newton has a message for the fans, he sounded a little Panthers as the New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott during the NFL playoffs. "What message? "He said. "I can't wait."For more information about reprints, visit & for our frequently asked questions. To report corrections to vabarot, contact standards editor Jones Brent. "This letter," he explained, "the person said Newton, Mr. Richardson, you please ask cam Newton if he wants to be great?"A day after the Panthers gambled Newton has to be a franchise quarterback, Newton was a podium on Friday, blue tie and gray suit and vowed not be outworked. "I understand that it is not something that is going to be instant, as desired by the immediate, "Newton said of matching the NFL. "It is more like collard greens. You have let it sit and wait. But at the same time it is going to be a fun process. I know. "Sporting a broad smile oozing confidence, Newton met with journalists in his new employment Friday as he embarks on a shed and overcome negative labels as intensive lead the Panthers out of the basement of the NFL. "I adopted this whole process of person everybody, "said Newton. so was certainly as Newton paraded throughout the West Bank of America Stadium as the highest draft pick — and most probably dangerous — in the Panthers 17. questions surround his problems off the field in Florida, his father allegedly payment for run a Pagani during his recruitingHow to adjust the spread offense in fragile system pro-style at reading defenses is more difficult. "When you look at the Auburn offense, they see a little of this offence. But the pages at the same time you will not be reported to me out into its own philosophy was to coach an offense, "said Newton. "My job is to make this transition and to make everything run smoothly."6-foot-5, winner of the Heisman 248-pound certainly did so on the fragile process. He threw 22 touchdown passes, rushed for more than 20 national championship season, the Tigers 14-0. However, the Panthers scored 16 touchdowns hits on two more games in 2010. "Ability to work with football, as a sphere, not just as a scrambler, "Ron said he trained the Rivera strength of Newton. "He opened things up for back to work. If it crashes down the line of scrimmage, he can gain something happens bootleg out. "But how long does it take to get to that point? And he stay out of trouble?Center Ryan Kalil (FSY) couldn't resist needling his new side when it is posted on Twitter, "congratulations entertainer, Newton camera." This is a reference to a statement made to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in which Newton's laws, he said that he saw himself as more than a soccer player.Kalil, however, was fast and introduced himself to Newton on Friday. "Kalil listen, as long as he wins football games, soccer games helps us win, he says, to do whatever he wants, "said winning happened only twice ... for Carolina last season amid play quarterback. Jimmy Clausen (FSY) went 1-9 as a starter Rocky after he replaced the injured and ineffective Matt Moore (FSY). "Of course we struggled last year, "said Moore, set to be a free agent. "If a guy like who is an explosion can help this team, it is a good choice."There was another element of intrigue at QB after Newton was expected. with Rivera holding the Panthers Jersey No. 1 and cameras flashed, Newton was asked if he hoped to wear no. 2, which he wore in fragile. "I will try, "said Newton. it belongs now to Clausen And at Clausen welcomed. using a text message Thursday night, he gives in to his work. Clausen was among the first players to reach the team headquarters at dawn Friday when the NFL opening its doors following a court order to end the lockout. "He asked me a fortune. Only person to do, it says a lot about his character and what kind of person he really is, "said Newton. "We had an interesting conversation about Charlotte. He said he was here, was hoping to get a chance to meet him. I look forward to not only meet Jimmy, but many of the other team members. "After he finished speaking of how he hoped his template work ethics after star QBs Tom Brady (FSY), Peyton Manning (FSY), drew Brees (FSY), Newton was increased from to with the coaches. It was the first step in that process and hoped to prove critics wrong Newton. "I'm talking about right now: I'm trying to be the best, "Newton said.I strive to be great. "

Why he can make the jump: Savvy performer who led the Blue Hens to two-year record of 18-7 that included Colonial Athletic Association title after transferring from Penn State. Ability to read and react allowed him to complete 481 of 728 passes for 5,696 yards for 37 TDs with only 12 INTs.

Why he can't: Draws easy comparison to Joe Flacco, who transferred from Pittsburgh to star at Delaware and went on to immediately enjoy success with Baltimore Ravens. Comparison does not work, however, because Devlin does not approach Flacco's cannon arm.

Projected round: Sixth

Last player drafted from Delaware: QB Joe Flacco (2008), first round, Baltimore Ravens

Coach's quote: "It starts with him being a very smart human being and it translates into a very smart decision-maker. He has excellent size, good movement in the pocket, light feet and he tends to know what he's looking at." —Jim Hofher, offensive coordinator and QB coach, Delaware

Draft expert: "He's a bright young guy who has a real love for the game. His mechanics are solid and he makes accurate throws. One negative is that I don't see enough throws down the field that separate the great quarterbacks. I don't see that arm strength in Pat." —Ron Jaworski, ESPN analyst

Hometown: Hainesport, N.J.

Key statistic: Started all 53 games of his career.

Why he can't: After playing in spread offense at Villanova, faces not only task of adjusting to much higher level but also to pro offenses, making his challenge doubly tough.

Projected round: Third

Last player drafted from Villanova: TE Matt Sherry (2008), sixth round, Cincinatti Bengals

Coach's quote: "He's the best we've ever had here. He's exceptional. He's going to pick it up mentally. He's very smart. The main thing he's going to have to work on is coming off the ball in the running game." —Mark Ferrante, offensive line coach at Villanova

Draft expert: "He is a four-year starting left tackle whose nimble feet and strong upper body make him surprisingly NFL-ready. The concern about Ijalana is, of course, his level of competition." —Rob Rang, senior analyst, NFLDraftScout.com

WR Jerrel Jernigan, Troy

Ht.: 5-9 Wt.: 190

Hometown: Eufala, Ala.

Key statistic: Averaged 160 all-purpose yards per game in 2010.

Why he can make the jump: With 84 catches for 822 yards last season and 45 runs for another 322 yards, makes a lot happen offensively.

Why he can't: Lack of size troublesome.

Projected round: Second

Last player drafted from Troy: QB Levi Brown (2010), seventh round, Buffalo

Coach's quote: "I don't try to predict the NFL, but he's been a four-year starter for us. He's really done way above in all capacities. He's a great player and a great student. He's a true Trojan." —Larry Blakeney, head coach, Troy

Draft expert: "He's very explosive and he makes plays. I think he's an outstanding prospect with the potential to be a starting slot receiver." —Michael Lombardi, NFL Network

G Will Rackley, Lehigh

Ht.: 6-4 Wt.: 310

Hometown: Riverdale, Ga.

Key statistic: Started 40 consecutive games to end collegiate career.

Why he can make the jump: First team All-Patriot League selection anchored offensive line that allowed just 14 sacks in 13 games during his senior season. Started all 13 games at left tackle and Mountain Hawks ranked second in Patriot league in passing and scoring. Competed in East-West Shrine Game and showed ability to step up to next level.

Why he can't: Will need time and patience to adjust to pros and to expected shift from left tackle to guard.

Projected round: Third

Last player drafted from Lehigh: DE Rich Owens (1995), fifth round, Washington Redskins

Coach's quote: "He's a very strong NFL prospect. I thought he had a real good chance last year and he had a dominating year this year. We've had a lot of offensive line coaches in here and they've all been very impressed." —Andy Coen, head coach, Lehigh

Draft expert: "He plays heavy-handed with good upper-body strength and physicality…He should be able to start readily in the NFL but is most naturally suited for the inside in the pros." —Nolan Nawrocki, Pro Football Weekly

WR Cecil Shorts III, Mount Union

Ht.: 6-2 Wt.: 210

Hometown: Cleveland

Key statistic: Ranks second in Division III history with 63 receiving touchdowns.

Why he can make the jump: Was a polished wideout for the Purple Raiders, finishing with 259 catches for 4,705 yards and 63 TDs. Versatility allowed him to rush 75 times for 492 yards and 12 scores. Brought back two punts and one kickoff for scores. Averaged 108.9 all-purpose yards per game.

Why he can't: It will be important that he land in the right system with the right QB. Is not a burner who will create much on his own.

Projected round: Fourth

Last player drafted from Mount Union: WR Pierre Garcon (2008), sixth round, Indianapolis Colts

Coach's quote: "Cecil is a gifted athlete who worked extremely hard. At our level, he showed an exceptional ability to separate himself from defenders and catch the football." —Larry Kehres, head coach, Mount Union

Draft expert: "I think he's one of the more underrated receivers in this year's class. He doesn't have elite physical qualities — height, weight and speed. But he's a smooth route runner, he comes out of his breaks well and he can get yards after the catch. He should be a good number two or number three receiver." —Todd McShay, ESPN

DT Kenrick Ellis, Hampton

Ht.: 6-5 Wt.: 345

Hometown: West Palm Beach, Fla.

Key statistic: Led team with 94 tackles in 2010.

Why he can make the jump: Has size, quickness and strength to stand his ground at the point of attack.

Why he can't: Discipline may be an issue. Dropped from South Carolina program for repeated violations of team rules. Suspended for one game last season.

Projected round: Second

Last player drafted from Hampton: DE Kendall Langford (2008), third round, Miami Dolphins

Coach's quote: "He's a very disciplined guy, very polite, but on the field he reminds you somewhat of a grizzly bear. He has size and great quickness. He's definitely ready for the NFL, and he's probably going to make an immediate impact." —Donovan Rose, head coach, Hampton

Draft expert: "Ellis' rare size and good athleticism make him the most intriguing of this year's so-called second-tier defensive tackles. He showed the ability to dominate at the lower level." —Rob Rang, senior analyst, NFLDraftScout.com

S Mark LeGree, Appalachian State

Ht.: 6-0 Wt.: 200

Hometown: Columbus, Ga.

Key statistic: Ranks second in Southern Conference history with 22 interceptions.

Why he can make the jump: Is only the second three-time consensus first-team All-America in Appalachian State history, joining NFL Pro Bowler Dexter Coakley. Possesses excellent range and ability to adjust to the ball in the air. Picked off five passes and broke up eight as a senior to go with 49 tackles.

Why he can't: Although skilled at preventing the deep ball, he is limited after that. Must make dramatic improvement to become a stout defender versus the run.

Projected round: Seventh

Last player drafted from Appalachian State: QB/WR Armanti Edwards (2010), third round, Carolina Panthers

Coach's quote: "I think he has a chance to play at that level. He has good speed and good ball skills. A lot of it depends on getting with the right team and getting the right fit scheme-wise." —Scot Sloan, defensive secondary coach, Appalachian State

Draft expert: "He's not great at playing the run or playing in space and in coverage. He has limitations that may prevent him from ever being a starter in the NFL." —Todd McShay, ESPN

CB Buster Skrine, Tennessee-Chattanooga

Ht.: 5-10 Wt.: 185

Hometown: Woodstock, Ga.

Key statistic: His 4.22 time in 40-yard dash a school record.

Why he can make the jump: Skrine (pronounced "screen") can compensate for lack of size with speed and leaping ability (35-inch vertical). Also has surprising strength.

Why he can't: Lack of height means worrisome mismatches.

Projected round: Fifth

Last player drafted from Tennessee-Chattanooga: DT Terdell Sands (2001), seventh round, Kansas City Chiefs.

Coach's quote: "I think Buster is an excellent prospect. He can run. He's got a great burst. He has a great work ethic. He's just a joy to be around. The only thing with him is his size, but they seem to think they will find a niche for him." —Russ Huesman, head coach, Tennessee-Chattanooga

Draft expert: "He has great speed, great acceleration, good strength. He's got what you're looking for in a corner. The negative is he's 5-9 1/2, but it's not a major negative because he has a vertical jump of 37 inches." —Former Dallas Cowboys executive Gil Brandt, NFL.com

"Many times the system should adjust the talent of quarterback, '' Shanahan said, "generally and this is what you need to do in the National League that you're not going to — to get the perfect guy. Should be able to do what he does and the offence accordingly. "Shanahan said he is "just another" preparing the first draft without going through free agency, but is drawn to a situation faced by all NFL teams, he said. He said his job was "business as usual" indicated that the effects of locking begins to be felt in may, when the players usually are reported for a series of spring practices. like most teams in the NFL, the Redskins do not allow players to the facility, although the judge lifted the previous lock in Minnesota this week. "What we are looking for is a little more clearly what are the rules, so that we can work on the same page, "said Shanahan. "So we just wait and see what are the rules."Shanahan addressed some of the other topics in his press conference: sexual abuse asked the misdemeanor charge levied against the defensive player of the week, Albert Haynesworth (FSY), Shanahan said the he says a lot that is not allowed to speak to an agent of Haynesworth Haynesworth or during a break. "Any time there's someone out there that is associated with this organization that isn't positive, you probably don't feel very good about it," said Shanahan. "But you want to get the facts first, I was not able to speak with Albert. So I don't feel comfortable talking about it. "— Ask the programs for McNabb, who was benched for three games in the final season, is expected to return, Shanahan gave the same answer: "I want to be able to share with you, but when you talk to donovenai to his agent, and I can't really give you an honest answer of exactly what we're going to do."Shanahan said he was pleased — and learn some of the players on the Redskins 30 was gathered at their local high school for two days of practices earlier this month. "We have some leadership there," said Shanahan. "You can view it, you're always proud of your players are taking the initiative to go out and do something as a team. You're always hoping the guys individually, but to see that does not put a smile on your face. ".
